Safari, uninterrupted

Safari users, we finally got there.
When we first shipped 10ten Japanese Reader for Safari, Apple encouraged authors
to use the so-called activeTab mode so that you had to opt in to using the
extension on every site.
That can be nice from a privacy point of view, but the downside is you have to opt in to using the extension on every site.
Fair to say, most users didn’t like it and asked us to just make it work like all the other browsers.
So we finally did. In 1.29.0, 10ten now stays enabled when you switch tabs or follow links to other websites.
Safari may ask you to allow website access after updating. Choose the access you’re comfortable with and 10ten will be available on the sites you allow.
For the curious, we’ve also added experimental opt-in audio support but more on that next time, once it’s enabled by default.
